My Busy Saturday

The early flight to New York was worth it. The meeting late-morning meeting practically turned into an impromptu bidding auction for the next novel, with some of the "without prejudice" offers consisting of a tidy sum and including first rights to my next six books. Go figure! It seems we've agreed to adjourn the issue, so to speak, pending provision of further information regarding the outline. Thanks to the NDA, that's all I can say at this time, but I expect to be able to make a further announcement regarding same in a relatively swift time-frame.

The afternoon was simply a time of wandering through shops and taking incredibly long cab rides, for some reason... but it was neat to look at all the different kinds of buildings. The couple of late-afternoon meetings were productive as well, with the promise of quite interesting projects on the near horizon.

And then, the flight back home.. never a more relaxing one before.

Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead. 'Tis the season!
